The successful candidate will oversee the processing of residential title files, lead financial and sales performance, ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain a high standard of service delivery for the branch. In addition, this role includes managing workflow for title production, settlements, and underwriting while ensuring the team meets company goals and deadlines. Branch Manager Duties:

- Provide leadership around the execution of the company vision to ensure that the branch is successful from both operational and cultural points of view.
- Hold monthly scorecard review meetings will direct reports to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and address performance gaps.
- Ensure the Settlement Officers and processors at the branch provide top-tier customer service, in alignment with Eagle Title’s Brand Promise.
- Uphold Eagle Title’s culture, Brand Promise and Core Values in all employees and branch activities.
- Ensure branch operations follow standardized processes, and that settlements are completed effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the Director of Residential Operations and the Director of Post-Closing to ensure all pre and post-closing processing for settlements taking place at the branch are completed smoothly.
- Oversee the branch facility, ensuring it is opens on time, remains clean and organized with necessary supplies for efficient operations.
- Resolve escalated issues from the branch processing team, and provide the necessary support and direction to ensure timely and high-quality closings that meet the Brand Promise.
- Support recruiting, training and development of branch and sales staff.
- Develop and manage the branch’s Settlement Officers including implementing a specific training plan and meeting regularly to review their progress and continued development.
Settlement Officer Duties:
- Business Development & Client Relationships
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and build relationships with real estate agents, mortgage bankers, and other key clients.
- Create a culture of business development by executing a custom-tailored marketing plan for core clients. This can include group trainings, attending a set number of meetings per month with both new and existing clients, participating in open houses, sending personalized messages, etc.
- Continuously increase market penetration within a defined territory, measured by the number of orders and revenue growth.
- Generate, nurture, and manage long-term client relationships with real estate agents, brokerages, and other real estate service providers.
- Client Service & Settlement Process
- Provide outstanding, proactive customer service by responding to inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring client needs are met with excellence.
- Collaborate with and support the processing team to guarantee that all aspects of the settlement process are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Take ownership of any issues that arise and work to resolve them effectively.
- Conduct both in-house and remote residential settlement signings, maintaining flexibility to meet client needs.
- Operations & Compliance
- Ensure that all settlements are conducted in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the settlement process and real estate transactions, continuously enhancing your expertise to provide superior service.
- Take responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all documentation related to settlements.
- Industry Engagement & Representation
- Actively participate in industry meetings, networking events, and trainings to represent Eagle Title and uphold its Brand Promise.
- Build and maintain a positive presence within the real estate community, staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Education & Licensing
- Proactively maintain your Producer’s License through continued education and participation in industry training opportunities, including Eagle Title Institute offerings and other professional development programs.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a liaison between clients and the internal team, ensuring clear communication and a smooth settlement process.
- Contribute to team success by sharing best practices and providing leadership where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and offer exceptional customer service.

- Must have an active Producer’s License and commit to ongoing professional development.

- Assist with due diligence in a variety of commercial transactions, including but not limited to, title review, survey review, ordering and reviewing judgment and UCC searches, and reviewing corporate documents.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and appointments for all parties involved, including lenders, attorneys, title companies, and brokers.
- Assist in the closing process, including compiling and scanning transaction documents, coordinating funding, and tracking all outstanding requirements for closing.
- Assist with post-closing matters, including compiling all final closing documents, preparing closing binders, and reviewing final title policies.
- Prepare corporate documents for entity formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, and assist with ongoing maintenance of corporate client records, files and policies.
- Manage and organize client files in our electronic database and paper filing systems from opening through closing of files.
- Perform other paralegal duties and special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment driven by multiple transaction deadlines.
- Ability to manage and effectively prioritize a large number of projects at the same time.
- Positive, pro-active, professional attitude, with a strong desire to learn about business, commercial real estate, and commercial finance transactions.
